Holly is going into her eleventh year of coaching with the Club! Holly was born and raised in Mead, WA where she competed as a volleyball, basketball, and tennis athlete. She relocated to Bellingham where she graduated from Western Washington University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Sociology. She continued her time at Western as a full-time employee for three years in the Campus Recreation Department where she fostered a strong social media and marketing presence within the department. Holly then earned her Master’s Degree in Athletic Administration from Central Washington University. In her time on leadership for Apex NW Volleyball Club, she was a contributor to Apex’s growth of four teams to a substantial fifteen in just four years along with one of the strongest boy’s programs in the state.
In her ten years of coaching club volleyball, her teams have represented at the highest level with three consecutive 2nd place finishes in the Puget Sound Region from 2021-2025, four top-5 finishes in the USAV Qualifier circuit, a USA Volleyball bid in the 2025 season, along with a gold medal finish in an AAU Open division in 2024. Her athletes’ success has consistently led to first and second team honors in the NWC as freshmen and sophomores.
Furthermore, Holly just finished her second season as the Head Coach with Nooksack Valley High School. In 2025, as a 1A school in one of the most competitive conferences in the state, The NW Conference, she led the Pioneers to their highest conference finish in 16 years, placing 3rd out of 16 teams. Holly cultivates an environment of growth by ensuring her players are supported on and off the court, build a strong knowledge of the game, and learn valuable skills that will take them far beyond the gym.
Holly has a passion for bringing our community together through the use of website, events, social media and marketing. In her time with Apex NW she has developed content and a brand for our program to stand firm on. She has fostered events and social media campaigns as her ultimate goal for Apex NW is to be united as a program and community.
