This is Chalae's sixth  season coaching with Apex NW and she is very excited for the 2024-25 season to begin! Chalae is a dedicated and passionate coach with six years of experience in developing volleyball athletes at all levels. With a background in both competitive play and coaching, she has a deep understanding of the game and a commitment to fostering a positive team environment. She is a volleyball, basketball, and track record-holding athlete at Squalicum High School and was on the volleyball coaching staff there following her graduation for four seasons. She played for the women’s club team at Western Washington University while earning a degree in Kinesiology: Exercise Science. She emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, believing that a strong foundation in these areas leads to success on and off the court. Chalae is committed to inspiring athletes to reach their full potential, instilling a love for the game, and building lasting relationships within our volleyball community.

"I could not be more excited for another season with my Apex NW volleyball family! This program is truly something special, and I’m lucky to work with such dedicated coaches and players every year. I can’t wait to continue aiding in the development of a very talented 15s team with my amazing coaching partner Holly for a fifth season!! Triangles up!!!"
