This is Chalae's sixth  season coaching with Apex NW and she is very excited for the 2024-25 season to begin! She graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Kinesiology and Spanish. She graduated from Squalicum High School and was on the volleyball coaching staff there for the following four seasons. After playing on the Women's Club team at Western, getting involved in pageantry, and exploring other opportunities, she realized that her heart is happiest when coaching volleyball. She was a volleyball, basketball, and track athlete, but volleyball left the most positive impact on her life and now she gets to invest in young athletes who love the sport as much as she does. She believes that playing with joy and making hard work your passion are huge keys to finding success as an athlete and she can't wait to instill these among other values in her players.
