This is Loke’s first season at APEX NW! Loke was born and raised in Ontario, California where she competed in Volleyball and Polynesian Dance. Loke is both Tongan and Samoan and comes from a family of athletes and found her love for sports through watching them! She started her volleyball journey around the age of eight and competitively continued throughout high school and college. Loke is currently studying Sports Medicine at Utah Valley University where she also had the opportunity to play Division 1 Volleyball and Rugby at the collegiate level. Due to her recent move and transition to Lynden, WA, she chose to retire from playing Volleyball and focus on Rugby! She currently plays during the 7s season with the Chuckanut Bay Mussels in Ferndale, WA. Although Loke retired from playing, she has always had a passion for coaching volleyball. Loke has a passion for teaching/coaching young minds and encouraging them to become the best version of themselves. She loves to help them grow their love for the game, building their team relationships and pushing them to the fullest! Loke brings knowledge, fun and care to the table and will do her best to give her all to her athletes and fellow coaching staff!
“I am so excited to join the APEX NW family! I can’t wait to work with U14 Elevate and assist Coach Paytyn this season! Let’s go!”
