This is Katelyn’s second year coaching for Apex, and she is so excited to be able to be a part of the Apex family again this year! She is currently a junior at Western Washington University studying Psychology and international relations. After graduating from western in the spring of next year, she plans on getting her Ph.D. in developmental psychology in hopes of becoming a Child Life Specialist. She is so excited to grow as a coach and build relationships with all of her team members.
Katelyn has been playing volleyball since she was introduced to it in 4th grade. She started playing club volleyball when she was 13 and played until her senior year of high school. She still continues to play the sport with friends whenever she has a break from school and work. Volleyball has taught her to be a good teammate and played a significant role in the person that she has become today. She can not wait to spread her love and knowledge of volleyball through the Apex community. Playing volleyball is so much more than just playing any sport; it brings you lifelong friendships, good work ethics, unforgettable memories, and so much more.
“I can not wait for this season and all the memories and experiences that will come from it! I am so excited to be a part of the Apex family again this year! GO APEX!!”
