Holly Ste. Marie

U13 Summit Head Coach

Holly is going into her sixth year of coaching with Apex NW and third year on leadership. She was brought to Bellingham after growing up in Spokane, WA to pursue her undergraduate from WWU and never left! She is currently furthering her education by working on her Masters at Central Washington University in Athletic Administration. Currently, Holly works full-time on the marketing and events team at WWU in the Campus Recreation Department. Holly has a passion for bringing our community together through the use of website, events, social media and marketing. In her time as a staff with Apex NW, she has developed content and a brand for our program to stand firm on and be proud of. She has fostered events and social media campaigns as her ultimate goal for Apex NW is to be united as a program, family and community. 

Holly's coaching experience includes spending time as a volunteer coach with both the Men’s and Women’s Western Washington University Club teams, coaching middle school volleyball within the Bellingham School District, Assistant Coaching at Whatcom Community College, and coaching and leading Apex NW for the last six years. Holly cultivates an environment of growth by ensuring her players feel safe and supported to learn grow and make mistakes. She works for her athletes to build a strong knowledge of the game, improve upon their volleyball abilities, and learn skills that will take them far beyond the gym. She is looking forward to another great season!
