Grace Cisneros

U12 Summit Assistant Coach

This is Grace’s first year coaching for Apex and she is looking forward to working with the team all season long! She is currently pursuing a Spanish with a Secondary Education Endorsement degree at Western Washington University. She is hoping to move abroad after graduation to teach English in Central America and then return to the states to teach Spanish. Her coaching experience began in high school when she worked as a referee and as a coach for youth soccer. More recently, she has worked for Western as an overnight athletic camp counselor for various age groups. Coaching at Apex is the perfect combination of her passion for the sport of volleyball and working with kids!

Her passion began as soon as she touched a volleyball, which was the first day of middle school tryouts in 7th grade! After this experience, she started playing club volleyball in 8th grade and hasn't been able to stop since! She has continued to play club at Western and loves all the girls on her team. She looks forward to sharing her love and knowledge of the sport with young athletes in hopes that they will pursue volleyball as a lifelong journey as well!

“I can’t wait to meet all the girls and get to know them throughout the season! I know we’re all excited to get back on the courts and start getting some touches!”
