This is Aria’s first year coaching at Apex NW. She is a senior at Western Washington University, and currently studying Recreation Management and Leadership, and Sports Psychology.
Aria is the Head Volleyball coach at Franklin Academy MS. She’s been coaching a wide variety of sports for over five years, but volleyball has continued to be where her passion lies. Aria has been a volleyball referee for Bellingham Parks and Recreation adult leagues for the past four years and loves interacting with the broader volleyball community. Over the years, she has also been actively participating and competing in WWU’s intramural volleyball community. Aria loves to play and continue to sharpen her skills to help teach her players. Her favorite memory of volleyball was competing with all her best friends at the state tournament, her senior year of high school. Aria believes that club sports are an awesome opportunity and experience for young athletes. It allows them to develop a strong work ethic, gain experience, learn and practice skills, and have more volleyball fun than allowed in school season!
“I’m so excited to get back into coaching and volleyball in spite of these crazy times. I can’t wait to meet everyone and help them reach their volleyball goals!”
