Anna is excited to return for her second season with Apex NW, bringing her deep love for volleyball and a strong commitment to athlete development both on and off the court. Originally from Florence, MT, she began playing volleyball at age 10 and has been dedicated to the sport ever since. A multi-sport athlete throughout middle and high school, Anna uses her athletic background to shape a coaching style that emphasizes fundamentals, mental resilience, and meeting athletes where they are. She’s passionate about creating a team culture that is supportive, welcoming, and focused on growth, where every athlete feels seen, valued, and encouraged to challenge themselves.
Anna graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington State University in 2022 with a double degree in Criminal Justice & Criminology and Psychology, and played on WSU’s Women’s Volleyball Club team. After college, she served as Varsity Head Coach at CRSV in North Las Vegas for two years before moving to Bellingham in December 2023. She currently works as a volleyball official for the City of Bellingham and a paraeducator substitute with the Bellingham Public School District. Anna is also a full-time graduate student at UC Irvine, pursuing her Master’s in Legal and Forensic Psychology.
"I am looking forward to the 2025–26 season and continuing to build a positive, empowering environment where young athletes can thrive, helping them not only grow in confidence and teamwork but also prepare for the next level of competition, whether in high school, college, or beyond!"
