This is Annabelle’s third year coaching with APEX and they are so excited to get back on the court! They will be graduating from Western Washington University with a BA in Spanish and Human Services in December 2021. Annabelle currently works as a Visit Specialist for Skookum Kids, a nonprofit that works to reform the foster care system. After graduation, Annabelle aspires to work with Spanish speaking children in the Human Services field.
Annabelle grew up in Portland, Oregon, and discovered their passion for volleyball by watching their Dad coach high school volleyball. Their Dad was actually their first coach! This is Annabelle’s final season playing for the Western Washington Women’s Club Volleyball team, and their most memorable time playing was for Universidad de Nebrija in Madrid, Spain in 2019 when they studied abroad. Annabelle believes that the skills learned from volleyball can also be translated off-court into life lessons for young athletes. They are so excited to work with this year’s hardworking and dedicated athletes in improving their volleyball IQ, skill sets, technique, and self-confidence on and off the court.
“I’m so excited to be back coaching with APEX for another season! I feel privileged to be able to help foster the growth and skills of these young athletes!”
