Apex NW Volleyball Club offers opportunities in learning volleyball skills and competitive play for athletes of all genders ages 10-18. A large part of our goal involves building an inclusive volleyball program and community that desires to further the love for the game. We welcome athletes from all over to come and join Apex NW Volleyball Club as we continue to grow, travel to competitive tournaments, and provide opportunities for athletes to play club volleyball and advance their skills on and off the court. We emphasize playing in a positive nurturing environment and teaching the concepts of teamwork, sportsmanship and having fun. Our goal is to support Apex NW athletes in reaching their goal of playing at the middle school, high school, and collegiate levels.
Apex NW Volleyball Club utilizes competitive volleyball to develop stronger athletes, nurture well-rounded individuals, and provide resources to pursue volleyball at the next level.

Powerleague is a series of tournaments where teams in the Puget Sound Region are seeded, ranked within each age division, and play other teams that are close in ranking. Powerleague is an excellent opportunity for our athletes to compete with the best clubs and athletes in the region. These tournaments have various locations in the greater Seattle Area. It is important to note that tournament locations for Powerleague are not typically announced until the Wednesday before the tournament.
The difference between our Summit, Elevate, and Vertex teams are tournament lineups and competitive environment. Summit is considered our most competitive team, then Elevate and then Vertex. A group of athletes will be placed on an appropriate Summit, Elevate or Vertex team according to their performance at tryouts, skill-level, and age. These decisions will be made by director, coaches, and staff.
Our Ascent teams are our boys teams.
Your athlete will try out for the age bracket their birthday falls under which coresponds to their birthday. The link to check their age category is below! Only in special circumstances will athletes be asked to try out for an older team. Please email us if you have a question about which team to try out for!

Apex NW Volleyball Club travel policy places the responsibility of most aspects of travel to tournaments and supervision of athletes on their parents/guardians. Parents/Guardians are responsible for all costs for travel and meals for themselves as well as their athlete. The Club will provide blocks of rooms for families to reserve their hotel travel accommodations for PNQ , Lone Star Classic and Las Vegas only. These tournaments operate under the Stay and Play policies this year and require teams to book with certain partnering hotels to participate in the tournament – we require teams to reserve their rooms with the provided hotel from the Club for all Stay and Play tournaments. Teams who do not adhere to this rule risk being dropped from the tournament. It is important that all families book their rooms by the reserved cut-off date to avoid further complications. For all other tournaments - families will book their own lodging accommodations and purchase airfare to utilize points, staying with family and friends, and greater flexibility for traveling and scheduling during the season – ultimately saving money.
